Elizabeth Jane Hurley is an English model and actress who became known as a girlfriend of Hugh Grant in the 1990s. Hurley accompanied Grant in his role, which was at the time in the centre of media attention worldwide due to the huge box office success in Four Weddings and a Funeral in Los Angeles. The album's 2nd single Hot N Cold also proving popular the album much of the songs Perry composed herself, eventually saw the sales of over three million copies in the United States.
